I haven’t said anything about him being either your equal, nor your opposite. I think we can agree that. putting aside his blatant propaganda, Glenn expresses his, and his master’s, (publicly funded) opinion.

Therefore, my argument is that if Glenn has a right to ‘publish’ his government-endorsing opinions, one has an equal right to voice his or her dissenting opinion.

None of these arguments make any sense because they ignore the fact of the Maltese Constitution and that Malta is a signatory to the European Convention on Human Rights.

Also, please stop this incredibly stupid binary thinking which undermines an argument from the outset: the fact that a man called Glenn Bedingfield writes a series of blog posts which feature politicians and journalists does not make him the equal and opposite of this website. There are hundreds of blogs, all dealing with different subjects, written in different ways, for different audiences. You may as well compare Glenn Bedingfield’s blog to a food blog as compare it to this website.

1) It can well be argued that such a refusal will infringe my freedom of speech.
2) In your case, the freedom of being allowed to work.
3) Also I hazard to think that such a refusal would go against the participation clause, where you are encouraged to provide your input in how you are being governed.
4) Furthermore, if Gland’s public-founded sorry excuse gets the nod whilst yours doesn’t, I would also give the non-discrimination clause a long hard look.
