His intention was to collect as much money as possible so that he would retire from politics as soon as things start looking bad. However it happened sooner than he ever expected, that’s why his pants are getting tighter by the day.

Not being a lawyer, I can't quite get my head around the rationale of giving politicians an amnesty for their criminal acts simply to facilitate political reconciliation. Does this not just send out a message that any future criminal acts by politicians will be condoned?

The polls show that a whole 40% either lies that they don’t intend to vote (even when apathy was through the roof, almost 100% voted) or say they are undecided, or refuse to answer.

Scary, that people feel so reluctant to answer truthfully.

That tells me Muscat only has around 30% guaranteed (that imbecilic cohort of voters of which the Labour Party has around 30% and the Nationalist Party 25%).

And the Maltese are not only motivated by money. Nepotism, favouritism and abuse of power is hated more than anything else. In any case, the economy is one area the PN have proven credentials.

I doubt all but the daftest of voters actually believe the Labour government has anything to do with the economic success.

What they will have noticed, however, is the many ‘businessmen’ either being blown up or being found in pools of blood. Oh yeah, and the corruption.

I only hope that after the next election the entire truth surfaces and all those who committed crimes find themselves in jail.

It has to be said again as no one has copped on to the fact that if Egrant does not have a beneficial owner, how did Muscat know this (for nearly a year as he claims)? For me this is a slip that gives away the fact he is behind it rather than anyone else.

The media need to ask Muscat how he knew from the beginning that Egrant did not have a beneficial owner. Aren’t Nexia bound by secrecy not to divulge any client details?
