I see your point, however, many people own 4x4s with no intention of taking them offroad. Same reasoning really (both stupid in my humble opinion). It’s the same thing as owning a boat and only going on it to watch tv while it’s berthed.

I hate to be cynical here, Major Tom, but for some people the sun will always shine. Those excluded from the high table, the principled few by choice, but the majority only because they lack the wherewithal, may scowl and mutter their disapproval as much as they like, but these are politically savvy businessmen, and whichever party is in government, they will still be at the trough.

Silvio Debono has made a tactical error, probably due to his anger and disbelief that somebody would dare thwart him. Could you imagine sophisticated operators like the Gasans making a similar error? Nope. They would just bide their time.

I don’t agree with you at all. He’s just playing games because he can’t stand Silvio Debono and is really angry at the way he got that land at St George’s Bay, when it was he, Chetcuti, who raised around a million euros for Muscat’s electoral campaign.
