Cosmopolitan is the doublespeak term for minimum wage workers from impoverished countries. nannies and carers from the Philipines, construction workers from Latvia , mechanics and electricians from Italy, room attendants from Russia, janitors from Georgia , Chinese masseurs, Serbian cleaners…and heroin and cocaine addicts working in the gaming industry.

The factors you’re picking up on are the outward signs of Aspergers Syndrome (and please, no annoyed emails from people with children who have Aspergers, because it doesn’t follow from this that the CROOKEDNESS and CORRUPTION are manifestations of Aspergers).

No, they are worried that if they cut him loose, he’ll squeal. They also need him in the next five years for the same reason that they needed him in the first: he’s got to be the minister to sign off on the deals because the Prime Minister can’t and Louis Grech won’t, and Schembri has no executive power.
