And there was I thinking that in a civilised society there is a fundamental and unwritten rule that, in return for giving up the right to take the law into our own hands, we can expect the official forces of law and order to earn their publicly funded salaries and make a serious and concerted effort to fully investigate and apprehend those who are suspected of breaking the law.

Instead we have an ineffective Police Commissioner with no balls, tweeting in praise of the PM’s balls, and who is obsessed with watching grown men kick balls about a field.

What do you expect from one of Joseph Muscat’s greatest fans ? Come next elections, if – and I am more optimistic than I have been since 2013 – the PN wins, not only should the Police Commissioner be REMOVED from his position, but he should be prosecuted for obstruction of justice.
