The Minister within the Orifice of the Prime Minister, and probably the Prime Minister himself, will find some good reason to be abroad just ahead of the election, just in case.
I would not mind at all if that last one-way ticket was paid out of our taxes.

Labour will do anything and everything in their power to hang on to power, short of a military coup. In fact Muscat has already successfully manufactured a soft, silent coup d’état.

Today the Partit Laburista controls the army, the police force, Bank of Valletta, former Labour Party journalists and activists planted inside the courts of law as magistrates and judges, another crony holds the position of Law Commissioner, while many authorities have been neutered if not turned into a Labour Party club.

It would be foolish for the Nationalist Party and Maltese citizens hoping for a change to believe that the forthcoming general election campaign will not be a dirty and corrupt one.

We shall be seeing a number of frame-ups, lies, corruption charges against Nationalist MPs, dishing out of favours to Labour cronies and supporters, and vote-rigging.

The recent poll commissioned by The Malta Independent showed a massive 33% of the electorate to be undecided/not voting. It would be foolish for anyone to make a prediction at this point.

They will fight tooth and nail to hold on to power. I also suspect the Deputy Prime Minister’s role is more involved in all their roadmaps than just sitting dumbly alongside them over the years.

If they lose the election,they will probably disappear to some isolated place were no one can find them, and using a different passport.
