I am aware that some fans talk about ‘we’ and ‘us’ when referring to the team they support, but could any logical person ever say that a judgement of a team or its performance is an insult to its fans?

Could these people be any more childish?

If I were a fan of pasta, would I expect everyone to speak highly of it so as not to insult me?
