The message of this video is simple “Do not invite Kellyanne Conway to an interview.”

Here we all know now that Muscat does not even want to be interviewed. Follow up tactic? Do not attend press conferences given by Muscat and do not provide him and lis lot with press coverage? Media is the life blood of politicians; without it they will run dry quickly. So cut it off.

I don’t buy this thing of ‘just doing her job’. Yes, we all have jobs to do. But lest we forget, following orders is not defence for the unethical and illegal. She knows what she is doing, and she is happy to do it. This is on her conscience.

How right. Blame the networks, because they are the ones who let these media deflectors get away with it.

The networks have to always keep in mind who needs whom, and as most politicians want nothing better than to hog the airwaves to the detriment of their adversaries, if they find themselves marginalised, they will have to quickly start respecting the network viewers. Especially should there be an election brewing.

An interesting video. One is reminded of that BBC clip on YouTube when Jeremy Paxman interviewed Michael Howard in 1997 and asked him 12 times “Did you threaten to overrule him?”. A shame more interviewers don’t have more grit.

Net TV needs to do something similar.
