I think the real reason Mrs Muscat doesn’t climb that particular ladder is that she is one of those women who see their daughters as extensions of themselves and can’t be parted from them for a day.

I was driving along Pieta when the policeman and the SUV passed. I imagined that it was some important foreign personality. But I was not convinced because there was no policeman behind.

Thanks for uncovering who the ‘VIP” was. This is gross abuse of power by a woman who had stated just after the last election that she and her husband would make the most of their time in Government. That is a promise that she religiously and devoutly kept.

He did the same along the Bugibba road just past the traffic lights, almost causing us to crash. I think it is a shame this system is used as when you hear a siren wailing you think it is an ambulance.

It may cause people to ignore the siren when a real emergency occurs. If they want to get to their destination in time they should plan ahead like the rest of us do.

These abuses must stop. Drivers should snap a photo or preferably a vid, and forward it to Mrs. Caruana Galizia.

Then such utter arrogance should be formally recorded and exposed in parliament, by having the Opposition formally asking the MP (to whom the vehicle is assigned) and to the Minister of Home Affairs, to specifically explain what urgent business was involved that warranted such behaviour.
