In reply to Major Tom. No, it's not perfectly all right for them to be having fun or seen having fun at a time like this. Malta's situation is parlous. The government is fraught with accusations of corruption. The least they could do is have the decency to at least pretend to be concerned at the gravity of it all.

You’re right. Actually, the part of the headline which matters most is the first part. It would have been perfectly fine if they were having fun, but unfortunately they do so at the expense of others.

Probably Egrant would have felt cheated on given the nature of the goal in the 97th minute, which suits him well but it will not be enough for him to learn the lesson.
