There must be something wrong with me, and I can’t believe I’m writing this, but in fairness to Muscat (did I really write that?) it will be he who is suffering the annual depreciation on the Alfa and he should be compensated for that. Furthermore, by using the Alfa the taxpayer is saved the annual cost of leasing or buying a Merc or BMW which must be considerable.

Yes, finally the penny dropped. And I for one was fooled into thinking that he cared so much for his children he would sacrifice an expensive holiday in lieu of his children’s education. Of course not, in fact, why not have both by screwing the system. Crooks.

Daphne – I am no tax expert however it seems that he is receiving Euro 7,000 tax free for his car and paying the Euro 7,000 for the school fees.

He then claims an allowable tax rebate of Euro 1,600 for each child.

This family has really promised itself many benefits and then accuses the PN of camouflaged donations.
