His recent arguments are all pro-dictatorship. Dr. Gonzi was weak on some points, but he was strong on honesty, fearless in times of crisis and did not spend his time in government ying to the electorate and daily attacking the leader of the Opposition.

He respected democracy in a way that Muscat never has.

I really wish the government would stop taking credit for our hard work. They have not brought in one bit of investment and yet they brag like it’s thanks to them that the economy is doing well.

It is thanks to us – entrepreneurs and people who actually work in that economy, that it is doing well, and it is because of the government that it is not doing better.
