It took more than 25 years.

Taghna and taghhom – revolting.

My worry is listening to Nationalist-leaning/Nationalist-voting individuals claiming: “Qed tara, huma jaqduhom taghhom. Taghna ma kienux jaqduhom.”

So let’s not make the mistake that there is such a huge difference between the two sides (in this context I mean).

It was always like that, no matter who is in government. This is ingrained in the Maltese culture and I think that it is something that is learnt at an early age and has to do with lack of parenting skills and discipline.

It starts off with asking one parent for something and turning to the other when your request is turned down. You find that this behaviour keeps being manifested in schools and also in the workplace by bypassing your direct manager and asking his superior for favours.

Unfortunately many people thrive on this to the detriment of the few that believe in themselves and their capabilities.
