What really strikes me is his Alfred Sant mimicry. Same hand jestures and facial expressions. Pity that when he grew out of him he chose a different moral path.

This clip also reminds us how at that time they wanted to change the old Labour image by putting on smart suits and wearing blue ties. Even in that they were not being original – Ed Miliband was doing the exact same thing in the UK.

Some people, and there many of them on the voters’ list, would try anything that promises a change supposedly for the better and a heaven on earth for all.. But it would take an idiot of the first order to repeat that mistake after five years of disillusion as Malta’s international reputation is destroyed by institutionalized corruption.
