Proof, proof….Alfred Sant used to say that in the case of corruption proof is not necessary but one only needs to be morally convinced. Circumstantial evidence all points to there being corruption there have been too many coincidences during the past 4 years for all these to be coincidences. The Prime Minister knows, that in a court of law circumstantial evidence, more so where there are loads of if, is admissible.

It used to be said “Meglio tardi che mai” – but not in this instance. Now it is “too late, much too late” as recognized even those parrots who keep repeating unconvincingly “Where is the proof?

The proof, the evidence, has been destroyed by a police force that blatantly did not do its duty to prevent the foreseen tampering with the evidence but stood idly by expecting instructions from the prime minister that only came after the evidence had been spirited away in full view of an incredulous TV audience.

What an unbelievably frustrating situation. The country is being shafted in full view and with everyone’s knowledge, and nobody can burst through that door and lift the evidence or at least stop it from being destroyed.

My jaw is aching because I have been continuously gnashing and grinding my teeth in suppressed rage for the past week.
