Gosh, this is a relief because my first reaction was “where’s the catch? Why is Saviour Balzan publishing this news?” I promise, I thought it was some sort of a stunt worked out with his friend, the PM, out of which Muscat emerges ‘victorious’.

So it turns out to be ‘unfake’ news not much appreciated by the ‘fake’ Administration we’ve been lumped with. Rather than a victorious bottom line, this actually underlines what Muscat’s mindset has been all along.

Forget about labour supporters agreeing, but I have absolutely no doubt that anyone who’s got half a chicken brain will have worked out that this is the ultimate sting, which clearly shows how very little our people’s wellbeing counts for our Prime Minister.

When you catch a scorpion, you need to be careful how to put it down again. It will turn right round and bite you.

If only people were not to let their emotions prevail over judgement, and become obsessed with perceived but misplaced moral crusades, they would be able to separate the wheat from the chaff.

A cool head would not be tricked by hot air from suspect sources.

So if the conclusion of the inquiry is that the newspaper report is pure conjecture, why are they not filing for libel, or is that sort of treatment reserved exclusively for “hate bloggers”?

No, he doesn’t – he believes that given the predominant number of fools and corrupt people, he is able to rule the roost.

We can all be attacked and character-assassinated. He enjoys that, knowing that in the end he rules and he will never be brought to justice.
