Not at all. If it’s a choice between voting Labour or not voting – which is how dyed-in-the-wool Laburisti reason – then it’s best if they don’t vote at all.

You have to face it: some people will never vote Nationalist, even if Muscat is caught in flagrante with Cyrus Engerer and turns out to have not one but 10 companies in Panama in which he has been funnelling 10% on everything.

To think that apparently decent members like George Vella and Godfrey Farrugia still support such obviously corrupt colleagues who operate like they are above the law.

The former could redeem his otherwise uneventful career that reached its zenith when he froze Malta’s application to the EU as the servile servant of that other Labour oddball Alfred Sant.

Extraordinary measures are required to eradicate extraordinary corruption.

Thumbs up to the Nationalist Party who must have overcome internal battles to agree on this, and thumbs up to Marlene Farrugia for her tenacity in pushing forward all that she believes in.

Let us hope that this coalition will bring the desired changes in our country and finally allow it to prosper in peace and pride.
