This is yet another example of the mockery that Premier Muscat has made of the ordinary citizen by his pre-electoral pledge of a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption.

Once elected to government Muscat lost no time to head in the opposite direction by permitting a criminality network to operate from his own office in Castile and by defending the workarounds of its members to hide their wealth and avoid taxes.

A clear example is that when he did not see anything wrong in the fact that Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri took advantage of New Zealand’s secrecy laws to hide their offshore shell companies registered in Panama in undeclared trusts.
