Is “Get lost as soon as possible” your prayer to Saint Egrant?

Better back it up to some other saint. Egrant is most likely to refer your prayer to some investigators whose report he will keep indefinitely “in pectore”.

The hard work done by the Nationalists to bring Malta up to European standards seems to have vanished completely and we’re back to the horrible mentality of a southern Mediterranean backwater from another era.

Most Maltese seem to thrive on a diet of lies, cheating, corruption and masochism. To this have we been reduced once again.

I hope and pray that the saner and wiser block of the population will get rid of this lot when the time comes.
