If Muscat only manages to persuade the party faithful to vote for him he will only secure 40% of the vote. Allowing for 10% not voting that still gives PN/PD 50%. What’s not to like?

I always thought that billboard reflects how Muscat thinks. Dr. Gonzi had many flaws, but lust for power and money certainly weren’t among them.

Muscat is failing to even TRY to defend the indefensible. He sees the writing on the wall, and is not trying to convince anyone, but just to command the party faithful to vote for him so that he can retain power.

Does he really think that he can govern like this if he is re-elected with a simple majority next Saturday? Completely unaccountable, controlling the police (and the army, just in case), ignoring the media? This is the stuff of dictatorships.
