Excellent analysis. To me, the plain truth is that Muscat and his clique seriously think that winning a snap election would absolve them from any wrongdoing, whether known or yet to be revealed, besides sparing them the ignominy of facing criminal prosecution.

Of course they are dead wrong and sooner or later the wheels of justice will churn over the bastards, unless of course they flee the country which is a real possibility.
