Drives home the point that the leaders of the Malta Labour Party always stood for opportunism, greed and malicious intent and that mass meetings, especially in pivotal moments like the one we’re living, are a strong expression of democracy that can remain imprinted in the memory of the collective for years to come.

If Joseph Muscat has charisma, then my dog Tony can talk. He is the quintessential smarm machine, and is totally repellent, appealing only to deprived gay men, straight men of little experience who don’t pick up on the fact that they are being flirted with by another man because they’ve pigeon-holed him as straight and married with children, and desperate housewives who are so fed up that even the postman begins to look attractive. He makes my skin crawl even off the television set. And by the way, you should have had a good look at him eight years ago, in his black shirt worn with a black suit, a white tie, a goatee and a freaky hairstyle. Awful.
