This scandal was bound to become international, given the involvement of the Aliyevs, Malta’s presidency of the European Council of Ministers, Muscat’s and Schembri’s refusal to face the European Parliament’s Anti-Money-Laundering Committee to explain themselves (so convincing everyone of their guilt) and the very early elections.

What a fantastic advert for Malta.
Is Edward Scicluna planning any trip to Madrid to try and convince the Spanish journalists of the integrity and reliability of Malta`s financial services industry?
And what is Bannister doing? Looking for leaks?
