Muscat is being disingenuous about members of parliament being treated in the same way as any other citizen. Members of parliament do not have personal privilges. It is their role, and not their person, which is protected by parliamentary privilege.

And it’s fine for Muscat to speak about privilege. What has he done to make sure he is as equal before the law as a petty thief from a deprived background?
