In reply to james micallef. The thing is they didn't do it last time. Under the Gonzi administration recruitment was down to the bare minimum and the public workforce numbers were decreasing not increasing as these are doing.

Joseph Muscat is clearly running after disgruntled Labour supporters and handing out gifts even when they’re illegal, something that Gonzi never did, in spite of what the polls were showing.

Typical Malta. Labour back in 2013 criticised PN for this as vote-buying, now their justification is “the others did it last time”, so we’re going to do it. Thus acknowledging that it is, indeed, vote-buying.

My son had an interview for an important and necessary job on the same day when Franco Debono brought down Dr.Gonzi ‘s government.

That same night Dr. Gonzi announced that all promotions, jobs etc with the public sector were to be stopped immediately.

Also, who might they be kicking out. Just as Labour infiltrated organisations had made sure to just prior to the 2013 elections.

These people – at Masters or Ph.D level – haven’t been able to get a job since: too old, or overqualified.

These people are still angry at the NP and won’t vote Labour.

I thought that recruitment during elections is illegal. Well there is nothing legal under the Labour government, so surely it can be legally stopped.
