I say they have no sense of real values. You are right most Maltese regardless of what heir socio-economic grouping see money as their ultimate target.

We have a perfect example of how the switcher families have behaved these last three years, the Fenechs, Gasan and gang, Apap Bolognas etc. For them it’s one quality which drives them: GREED IS GOOD. They never have enough money, even though they rarely spend any of their own.

If it means helping the villains, so be it. These are the sort of people who, had Malta been invaded by the Nazis in the 1940s, would have collaborated with them and sold them supplies at an advantageous profit, because ‘business is business’.

In my experience, and bearing in mind that I have lived here for 52 years, most Maltese are anything but honest and decent. Worse still, many don’t even know the difference between wrong and right, but only between legal and illegal, and they have no natural understanding why something would be considered wrong by others.

What exactly does one base this affirmation on? If you vote for corrupt people you are corrupt yourself. With all the violence, repression and hopeless governance of the 70s and 80s half the population still voted for Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici and his cronies.

There is ample evidence that all the key members of the MLP are completely rotten. Those who ignore this either approve of the corruption or have the IQ of a jellyfish.

Maybe a bit of both. The country gets what it deserves. The country gets the government the majority chooses. Unless the votes are doctored, of course.

I would like to think that there may be a narrow honest and clear-thinking majority that could vote these criminals out, but every single vote will count. Abstaining or voting for AD is simply not an option if this terrible process is to be stopped.
