The lawyer said that his remit was not political but legal, and that he only answered questions about legal matters. But when he was asked whether Schembri should resign he answered in the negative. Was that answer within his legal remit?

Who is going to be the first one to break down? Who is going to be the first one to fall?

The chips are starting to fall and the Prime Minister seems to be running out of options. Spin as much as they like, this time, it is clear that there are enough grounds for an investigation.

If the Prime Minister does not kick his chief of staff out (and it would be too little too late), then we have the proof that he is being blackmailed and is not really in control.

Because at this stage, we are seeing the first signs that the Prime Minister is interested in only defending himself and his reputation because ultimately that is what will keep him in power.

But we should not forget that other stooge, Konrad Mizzi because he has been hiding for the past few days. He needs to be exposed for what he is, the crook whose wife probably left him because of what she saw and knew. They then went on to buy her silence.

We need to stay focused and try to unravel the jigsaw puzzle and find the weakest link. And we all need to do it before 3 June.

I think that the disappearance of Schembri is totally predictable. One should start asking the simpler and possibly less obvious questions. Is he still on the island? As days pass by, more and more people will be asking this question.

At some point, Saviour Balzan may come out telling us he saw him and that he was serene.
