It was a desperate man that shook Simon Busuttil’s hand on Xarabank. The hand shake marks the moment of Muscat’s submission to Busuttil.

The publicised comments in retort right after were theatre for the benefit of Labour. Busuttil “owned” Muscat from that moment forth.Muscat is in swan song mode.

Exactly. If his MPs let the people down, they should not be on the candidate list in the first place.

If I were a Labour candidate, I would be extremely offended that the party leader is throwing me under the bus (together with other MPs), just to save his skin.
