I drove past a Joseph Muscat tent event, and cars were parked wholesale on double yellow lines, narrowing a two-way street so much that that traffic could only flow in one direction at a time.

I had to reverse to let a car pass and found a woman about to park on the double yellow line.

Woman: “Tista’ tipparkja warajja”
Me: “Ma gejtx biex nipparkja. Hemmhekk mhux suppost tieqaf.”
Woman: “Iva, imma mhux ha jharrikna.”
Me: “Ghaliex le?”
Woman: “Ghax hawn Joseph”
Me: “Isss, halli ghalih.”

Abuse of power by the leader translates into a free-for-all by his supporters.
