Labour has only managed a full term in office in 1971 – 1976 under Dom Mintoff. The second term was marred by violence which ended with an election ‘win’ for Labour that governed against the will of the majority. Half way through (in December 2014) Mintoff installed Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici as Prime Minister. Violence shot up even claiming victims.

1955 – 1958 Dom Mintoff
1984 – 1987 Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici
1996 – 1998 Alfred Sant (22 months)
2013 – 2017 Joseph Muscat

Labour is unable to hold office for a long time and the only time it did, disaster struck. Let’s beware.
