Without a doubt. I’m sure fourth floor deals are happening with several people as they did last time.

The only difference is that last time they used Chinese or Azeri money to fund the deals.

This time they’re using Maltese tax-payers’ money.

I’m sure they’re not using the 600K they fund raised to fund their vote bargaining.

I totally agree. The Maltese who cry for justice and are concerned about the honesty, integrity and well being of their country cannot and shouldn’t go to the polls already dejected about the outcome.

I don’t believe that they are lost. Hunters would typically be evenly divided between Labour and PN. That practically nullifies their influence when hunting isn’t a point of contention between the major parties.

If AD joins the coalition, Forza Nazzjonali gains 5,000 votes while Labour would gain around 12,500. I’m afraid though that another fourth floor deal with FKNK is on the cards.

The polls are not a clear predictors when the election is four weeks away, and when there is a high percentage of “don’t knows” and “won’t tell”.

Prophecies of doom and gloom are to be deprecated because they promote a frustrating sensation of unavoidable doom that is totally out of place.

You are surrounded by a population, half of which (approximately) can be regularly bribed approximately every two decades by incredible promises of a Labour-sponsored Valhalla and who will continue to suffer from that delusion even when Malta under its Labour government becomes associated with depravity.

That depravity took the shape of sponsoring international terrorism (under Dom MIntoff) or its “politically exposed persons” deeply involved in money laundering on an immense scale (under Joseph Muscat).

Can we stop it with this myth, please? We now have a politician who left the most comfortable of jobs in the heart of Europe to come back and pick up a party that had just suffered the biggest defeat in the history of Maltese politics.

He is now having to handle the biggest corruption scandal Maltay has ever seen. Instead of talking about ‘skola gdida fis-sena’ and ‘toroq godda’, he is fighting the most evil clique to ever set foot in the Office of the Prime Minister.

Give him your full support instead of wasting your time on nostalgia. It is the very least you can do. Thanks to Busuttil, Malta is a member of the EU and you are enjoying all the rights that EU membership brings with it. Simon Busuttil is our only hope to go back to living in a country.
