Due to this being a snap election, a few of us have only been able to fly down to Malta on the 2nd of June. Now, if like myself, you happen to have no relatives living at your address to sign for your voting document, you will be unable to collect your vote at all and cannot participate in the upcoming election as:

– You can only collect your document in person from the relevant police station between the 24th and 28th of the month. No other person can pick this up, even if they have full legal power of attorney.

– The document can then be picked up from Naxxar until midnight on the 1st of June. The same rule as above applies

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t recall having such a hard time in picking up my document during previous elections
