Whether or not she decides to stay on in our Maltese parliament she will never get another vote from me and that’s a fact.

It’s the national parliament, not the local parliament. There is no such thing as a local parliament. That would be a council, with a mayor. This is the equivalent of those restaurant menus with list of ‘local wine’ rather than ‘Maltese wine’.

Therese Comodini Cachia will be giving up her seat in the European Parliament to dedicate herself to Maltese politics at a most difficult time. It is an act of self-sacrifice that merits our admiration.

Can we please stop attacking our own people, the ones who are fighting against criminality, corruption and despotism? Our enemies are the criminal, corrupt, despots. Let’s concentrate on them.

The PN needs no cleaning up. It is not involved in corruption or money laundering. It is the MLP that has been in urgent need of cleaning up since Mintoff’s era. But pigs do not clean up their sties

You’re wrong. That’s not how by elections work in Malta. She would be replaced by the candidate who inherits most of her votes.

If she gives up her seat in the European Parliament, she will be replaced by the next in line on the PN list, not a Labour candidate.

She has double-crossed all those who believed in her and voted her in to the Maltese parliament, and so does not deserve to represent Nationalists in the European Parliament. Shame on her.
