The sort of transfers that are wrong are those like the ones which happened last week, in which fit-for-purpose and regularly employed civil servants are transferred out of Heritage Malta to places where they cannot contribute, like the police HQ.

Yes. This is the final conclusion. Malta is intrinsically Labour because our culture is Labour. There are probably only two ways to have another Nationalist party in power. One is boredom and yearning for change after having Labour at it for 20 years plus. I suspect it’ll probably be only when we get to number one of Maslow’s needs hierarchy – physiological needs. Only when we are all down on our knees, scrounging around for something to eat and feed our children with will the vote change.

The pressure that Joseph Muscat put on the magistrate before the election would make sure of that. Now we will see whether the magistrate is really strong enough to withstand the pressure and come out with the REAL AND JUST result of the inquiry.

I do, however, think that he should have had a show on Net TV. Despite his heroic ability to hold a festering grudge for years, and his inability to understand just why taking a large stipend from Joseph Muscat upset so many people including his REAL friends, no one filled the television-interview gap that he left.

Every attempt is being done to hide the truth. When you have leading citizens from recognised bodies making statements you know you have broken an important barrier.

This is the barrier of silence about what goes on behind closed doors. This is the voice of reason that tells you to start thinking. How does a government that gives you a pittance each year as a COLA raise find the cash to distribute money like there is no tomorrow on the eve of an election?

This government is going to be shackled to the promises and jobs it issued before being elected. Everyone will want their pound of flesh.

The veneer is already starting to vanish. This will happen when the additional cost to the public sector will need to be absorbed by the tax payer.

One has to wonder what is going on with the IIP scheme which is supposed to generate millions. The management of these funds is a mystery.

Furthermore, this is the only sector created by this administration which has a capping. It is not sustainable in the long term and with an island that is one of the most overpopulated in the world you cannot keep on bringing in people with families to reside here when we barely have elbow space left on this island.

There are hundreds of questions that need to be asked.

What are we paying Shanghai Electric Power? Is the new power station running and at what cost to Joe Public?
Do any of Joseph Muscat’s appointments make sense?

Air Malta up for sale? Are people really up for sale?

Muscat’s sabre-rattling is an admission that the rule of law in Malta exists only in name. If that were not the case, what dissent could he expect?

It depends whether the magistrate has a backbone or not.
