He’s extremely ugly, believe me. The photo is his wife’s Facebook cover picture, so obviously it does not reflect real life.

I’ve often wondering about the Maltese definition of ugly. I suppose it stems from the fact that there are almost no handsome men in Malta, which I have always found astonishing, because the women are not unattractive. But then I suppose that’s the result of plastic surgery, botox, fillers, hair treatments, make-up, diets and high heels. Because as I recall, 30 years ago the women were ugly too.
