So did most other nationalities read, probably more so than did the Maltese. But the point not explained is: why did the word gakbin enter the Maltese language meaning back-stabber, and not take on the same meaning in, say, English, a language in which the dastardly deeds of the Dominican friar you refer to (and others) was written.

Again – where is the Maltese connection?

Reading these useless polemics the Big Liar and his henchmen must be congratulating themselves that above another historic (definitely partly stolen) victory they have the Nationalist Party in shambles and are looking forward to at least another 15 years in office making more loads of corrupt income to fatten their pockets meantime distributing peanuts to an electorate happy with a few cents more for an extra ice cream.
