Yes, it will, won’t it. But by then it will be too late. And people could only afford to sit around waiting for time to tell when they had nothing else to do and when they believed in an afterlife which would be compensation for anything they had to endure on this earth.

In the 21st century, waiting for time to tell is a non-starter.

Dr. Muscat should explain the European Socialists why he has already decided not to contest the next general elections. He was proud that he became the youngest PM at the age of 39 in 2013. A leader of a party is not there to please himself but to work for the party.

I don’t know whether it’s significant but Pia Micallef refers to “progressives”. It’s true that the official name of the group is Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats but as far as I know everybody usually refers to them as Socialists.

That Pia Micallef sees ‘overwhelming support’ for Muscat who is marketing Malta as a ‘beacon of hope for progressives’ speaks volumes about the basic gullibility level of some Labour acolytes.

Does she not realise that people who are true ‘progressives’ have integrity, believe in the rule of law and in changing society for the better.

Ironically, they also believe in the redistribution of wealth.

For the record, the ‘redistribution of wealth’ principle does not mean ‘progressive’ government ministers redistributing kickbacks and funds to off-shore accounts in Panama etc.
