He reminds me of Lou Bondi. Mr Bondi too needs a persona: rock-star, Larry King…

These two do not have so much a need to cultivate a persona to reach a goal ( e.g., to reach a certain sector of the electorate) so much as an actual necessary precursor to any communication.

Dr. Delia therefore is as strong as his persona. And his persona is a very tired one. Tired one here meaning old and subject to being broken past by any person with a basic education and normal life exposure.

What’s with these thugs anyway?

But the real danger is that Dr. Delia lacks any sign of real vitality beneath that persona. And that is a dangerous thing.

If there is no entrenched personality then what remains beneath the persona is a lizard brain.

I also think he is a gambler. An actual gambler who is addicted to the emotions to which gamblers are addicted. I say this because he has taken on risks that show a certain brazenness, a detachment from what is important in life, and a lack of normal aversion towards those activities that can create such losses.

Which is also why he made the poor choice of being surrounded by those thugs. And so it goes on in circles.

And, like Trump, he may get elected.
