I couldn’t give a damn who the Nationalist Party elects as leader, and I don’t think it matters at all if a political party spends 10 years in Opposition as long as it holds on to -and sticks to – some principles.

What is with this mentality of giving this person or that party ‘a chance’ – as though to say let’s try them out? That’s what the switchers said and did in 2013. This is no lottery or amusement ride.

You are absolutely right. And yes, it is an underground sewer. People forget that the aim of criminal networks is to control power from beneath the surface, and that therefore they do not confine themselves to one political party even if they emerge predominantly from one political party. The aim is to take over everything, which is how the Mafia got where it did in Italy in the 1970s and 1980s.
