Furthermore, the 'activity' of a lawyer (legal practitioner) falls within the definition of a 'relevant activity' and therefore within the scope of the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Regulations (PMLTFR) with very specific obligations to comply with even if there was a suspicion of illicit source of funds.
