Well, a democratic process inherently has its own serious problems too, namely that every Tom, Dick, Harry, Hamalla, Bahnan, Purcinella, Kriminal and Ruthless Makakk/a with the worse of ulterior motives has equal rights to vote, influence others, market ideas, lobby etc.

I keep having that argument with people, and they just don’t understand what I mean. Nobody who has children should ever seek to have their marriage declared null, even if they have grounds to do so.

You’re confusing issues. The Catholic Church CANNOT marry people who have been married already unless they are first divorced. Church declarations of nullity are not legal dissolution at law anywhere but Malta.

That is the bottom line that those who will vote for the next leader of the Nationalist Party will have to keep in mind, adapting the sentence to “I am voting for the person I want to be the Prime Minister of Malta” at the next election.

In reply to Rosalie Portelli. I too have a predictive phone, Rosalie. However, I normally go over what I wrote before pressing 'send'.... unless it's just a casual message sent to family or close friends. (and most, if not all, of the mistakes have nothing to do with predictive text).
