I think what Sella Turca means is Ms Efimova’s revelations, which were not limited to allegations about the ownership of Egrant, could compromise many other individuals – including some powerful Azerbaijanis – if they are shown to be true.

That must have something to do with the new gas-fired power station and/or the gas storage tanker. There is no record of new gas supplies having been brought in beyond the initial consignment which was months ago, when the original projection foresaw tanker loads of gas coming in at six-week intervals. Something has gone awry somewhere.

Government, i.e. the tax payer can still be called upon to pay out some Euro 600 million if the new station / storage complex fails, or to buy up the entire complex at tax payers expense under terms agreed in the power station contract.

It makes no sense to me that Joseph Muscat or anyone around him would be the least bit interested in whether or not her mother really did pass away. If it was one of the Castille gang members that sent the “dodgy character” to investigate, it would have been purely to intimidate and not to investigate.
