I too asked myself the same question, as it is inconceivable that at his age he had enough money to invest in personal and business assets and/or to have full title to free assets to give as a guarantee for obtaining project financing.

I hope that some inquisitive notary will carry out a public registry search on his assets and liabilities and publishes them for our information.

I also hope that any bank taking him on as a client carries out a good due diligence and seeks, as they do with others, information on the source of his wealth and on his potential income including that of his wife.

I also understand that, as a CEO of a public authority, he falls under the definition of Politically Exposed Person and therefore subject to a more rigid due diligence.
