The first thing that will happen if he gets majority, is what Daphne described as a stampede of supporters deserting the Nationalist Party – exactly what Muscat wants. Coincidentally, the mentioned persons seem to share a number of aims, tactics and wordings.

Said was Muscat during the infamous ‘chicken’ debate.

It is in the national interest to know the personal affairs of a politician to whom I and the voters will be trusting to take decisions on my and our behalf.

The politician’s past will surely reflect in his/her future decisions; especially if the wilful acts are kept under wraps. These decisions set the tune to my well-being, being it health, our children’s education, economic standing etc; and above all my moral beliefs.

Should I trust someone at the helm who has an undisclosed bank account, in a secret jurisdiction? That politician/candidate will never get my vote, even at the 0.0000001% level of doubt.

Do you seriously believe that a person’s past does not reflect in the decisions that he would make today or in the near future?

What will be Delia’s stand, hence the PN stand, on prostitution, abortion under rape, euthanasia for terminally ill patients, surrogate mothers, sperm banks, embryo freezing etc?

To date we just have frivolous statements without in-depth explanation/s. These are the serious matters that matter. I hope that I won’t be living in a country where abortion will be considered a woman’s right because she was raped, where terminating my life is my decision, where ova and sperm (or a zygote) can be implanted in a woman, where an embryo is frozen for a number of years u imbaghad naraw!

I don’t think so. Said went personal and was unconvincing.

I don’t think that Muscat will ‘jackhammer him into the ground at his bitchiest’. I think that the Muscat/Delia relationship, for the best part of the mandate will be lukewarm with enough staged abrasion to keep supporters on both sides happy.

Muscat will be charming the knickers off Delia while squeezing all he needs off him – the spectre of the Constitution keeps springing in front of my third eye.

Delia will be too busy wiping his financial slate clean to bother about the price that the Nation will meanwhile have to pay.

That achieved, Muscat, ‘at his bichiest’, will then proceed to ‘jackhammer him’ not into the ground, but into annihilation.
