A man can get any beautiful woman if he homes in at a vulnerable point in her life, especially when she is on the rebound. And she’s not beautiful; she’s pretty. Beautiful is in a separate league altogether. Very few people are beautiful and they’re unmistakable.

I work in media and communications, and have done so for 30 years. I actually do know what I’m talking about. Seeing a politician’s face on a newspaper is not the same thing as having the politician exposed constantly on television.

The television age in the United States gave the world John F. Kennedy: a good-looking man with a beautiful and glamorous wife. Ugly presidents followed, yes, but never when they ran against somebody good-looking and glamorous. Ugly contenders only won against other ugly contenders.

When you put a ‘beautiful’ contender into the mix it becomes impossible for the other contenders to win.

This is fact.

Please don’t be ridiculous. People didn’t even have indoor lavatories or bathrooms, let alone a television. Television became widespread in Britain three decades later.

Unfortunately, his wife, son and even his sisters are classic, textbook enablers. Instead of recognising that there is a problem, they treat him as though he is normal, root for him, back him up and encourage him into mad situations like the leadership election. If you go to his Facebook page, you will find his sisters actually egging him on. It is truly incredible. They don’t see that he needs psychiatric treatment, or maybe it’s genetic and they are all like that.

That’s because they were not really against corruption. They were against Labour.
