I’m afraid I don’t share your enthusiasm for any of them. Franco Debono rants on and on like a 16-year-old diva who didn’t win Mr. and Ms. Soiree. Marlene Farrugia – she’s got her good moments and can deliver the odd pointed reply. She’s “OK” at best.

They’re far from being great orators and sophisticated politicians though. Kummidjanti biss ghandna.

Delia is deluded. He is a drain on his family’s finances, his family’s reputation, and will be a drain on the Nationalist Party’s finances, the Nationalist Party’s reputation, Malta’s economy and Malta’s reputation.

These small matters aside, I am sure he’s a splendid chap. Even if he does look very odd but seems to think he’s God’s gift. And is a crap lawyer, given that he doesn’t understand things like personal guarantees and being jointly and severally liable.

He is also useless at property development, given the disaster in Mgarr. And he’s got a hopeless memory, as he can’t remember ever having a bank account with Barclays in Jersey or whether he was ever a director of a company that owned brothels in London.

How do I know he’s a top-notch fellow? Why, because he himself told me. And I’ve got an IQ of 32.
