To be fair to Dr Said, I would suppose that his comment was made in line with his stated intent, to extend the hand of friendship to all those who campaigned for Dr Delia and this for the sake of the much needed party unity.

On the other hand, the ‘election campaign’ as is being run, is dull, lifeless and only serves to frustrate viewers, even those with minimum intelligence. Why call the separate monologues of the four candidates for election a debate?

As far as I know a ‘debate’ is “a discussion, as of a public question in an assembly, involving opposing viewpoints” or, as in case of the ‘debate’ between candidates for election, debate is belter described as: “contention in argument, dissension, controversy before a public assembly.”

Were the journalists asked to stick to tame questions? Why were not the candidates asked to debate WITH each other, score off each other?

Has nobody in NET news staff ever followed a debate between Trump/Clinton or May/Corbyn. Now that IS a debate… Net news staff PLEASE wake up…. Do not bore us to death again.
