I believe that a disintegrated Nationalist Party will bring about the fall of the Labour Party as well. Labour remains united until their common enemy exists – the PN.

I doubt it. I think the stage is set for the Democratic Party to grow. Delia’s first pressing problem is going to be keeping MPs from resigning the party whip and moving to the PD. You do realise that is possible?

Adrian Delia needs reminding that all current Opposition MPs were elected on a programme fashioned by Simon Busuttil and what he calls the party ‘establishment’. Their loyalty is to that electoral programme and Malta.

Dr Delia promises to ‘revolutionise’ the Nationalist Party which therefore means that the programme will not be the same.

Any of them who are prepared to go back on the loyalty they owe to the electors who put them in that seat based on the CURRENT electoral programme will destroy that trust.

It is in vain that the Nationalist Party is now appealing to everybody to accept and follow whoever is elected. No way will I do so; I will not accept Dr Delia as my representative in Parliament because he does not represent the values and ideas I hold dear.
