This is indeed pathetic, unless the whole thing is a hoax. I wonder how a person with an obvious low level of intelligence and self-respect managed to use Facebook to expose this to every person who could follow her mutilated native tongue.
On the other hand, let’s not delude ourselves that this is something unique to Malta, or to the present time. Modern means of global communication have facilitated the wide dissemination of situations that were limited to local gossip before.
