This website brought to our attention something different: that Schembri was advertising his Pasta Rummo, a product that can probably be found in most supermarkets.

I used to find a music break invaluable to regather my thoughts. It is also down to some presenters trying to speak far too quickly.

Slowing down calms the audience and also gives you time to think. Of course variation of tone and speed is key.

No, it isn’t OK – because if you are going to allow the cameras into your home, you have to manage it to keep a professional image – which wasn’t the case here. The overwhelming impression was of chaos, mess and tension, and I just knew that if the cameras weren’t there, one or both of the parents would be yelling and going berserk.

Meanwhile if one was to look at it objectively, people like politicians who stop to listen to their concerns as this one is doing. They like politicians full of ideas and ready with quick or witty answers. They also like to get a glimpse into a politician’s family and home life as they can relate to this. And perhaps these things per se are ok.

What isn’t ok is his baggage, still lingering and uncleared in the shadows.
